She remembers being able to draw and paint very well from a very early age and being inspired by her creative mother who enjoyed fabric painting.
She was born in 1988 in a small town called Grootfontein in Namibia but moved around a lot with her parents and two younger sisters. After matriculating in 2006 from High School in the Western Cape, she tried a few different jobs and short courses until January 2011 when she decided to study fine art and pursue it as a career.
Having no prior education in art, she greatly enjoyed learning about it at the Andrew Owen School of Art in Somerset West, Western Cape, and soon her passion for painting was rekindled.
Today she is a full-time fine artist, exploring and developing her own unique style. Her loving parents and two sisters have always been supportive of her and encouraged her to pursue her dream to be a successful artist.
She paints mostly people, being inspired especially by the beautiful features of their faces and the way it conveys emotion.
She believes that the eyes truly are the windows to the soul and tries to capture this in large life-sized oil and acrylic paintings.
People often forget or never even realise that they are the most beautiful and miraculous creations on this planet. They are walking Master-Pieces!
